SLL Weekly Update #8

PICTURES
Speaking of pictures, it’s picture week. All teams have been assigned a slot either last night, tonight, or on Saturday. Pictures are taking place at Kings Springs Baptist Church. To speed up the process, please arrive early and bring your form if possible.

At pictures, you will be receiving your raffle tickets. You have already paid for these in your registration fees. You can sell them for $2 each or fill them out with your own info… it’s up to you. We will do a cash prize drawing in May.

BRAVES GAME
Please join us at Smyrna Little League Day at the World Champion Braves! We have 972 tickets reserved for the Sunday, April 24th Braves game vs. the Miami Marlins at 1:20pm. Tickets include a walk around the warning track before the game for players. To purchase tickets, please visit https://e.givesmart.com/events/pvU/

The deadline to purchase tickets is next Saturday, April 2nd. If you want to sit with specific people, please purchase in one transaction (max 10 tickets per transaction).

FUNDRAISER
On Saturday, April 30th, we invite you back to Truist Park for our annual Fundraiser. This is an adult only event (why should the kids have all the fun) held in the Hank Aaron Terrace starting at 7pm. Ticket link will be sent out soon.

As part of the fundraiser, we will have a silent auction. Each team is asked to create a “basket” for the silent auction. If you have idea, please reach out to your team mom/dad or coach. We are also looking for other non-basket items to include in the auction. Let us know if you have additional ideas.
