SLL Weekly Update #9

We’ve hit our stride weather-wise just in time to take a break for spring break! We hope everyone enjoys the time off.

SPRING BREAK
Cobb County Spring Break is next week. We will have games tomorrow, but we will be off through the following weekend except for some make-up TB and PW1 games on Sunday, April 10th. If you haven’t communicated your availability to your coaches for tomorrow or for 4/10, please do so ASAP.

ALL-STAR INFORMATION
For our Rookie and older division, we will have 1-3 all-star teams in each age group. As you make summer plans, please know that all-stars is a major commitment. We will be sending additional information and availability surveys out in a few weeks, but you can find INFORMATION and DATES on our website.

BATTING CAGE USAGE
Now that mid-week games have started, we have teams scheduled for practices each night in the new batting cages located in the parking lot of the lower fields.

We want all our Smyrna players to enjoy the new cages but please understand that teams may need to ask you to leave when they have a scheduled practice or are warming up for a game.

LIVE STREAMING REMINDER
We are up and running with live streaming and we’ve heard great reviews on the quality of the video. If you have not signed up, you still can at www.tealballoon.com/sll

Please be aware that the live streaming is capturing audio as well and picks up everything around the device.
