SLL Weekly Update #12

As we roll towards the end of April, we have lots going on at the park…

SPONSOR DAY
Tomorrow is our annual sponsor day. All our sponsors have been invited to come out and introduce themselves. Please take some time to say hello. They are a vital part of helping us run our league and we appreciate them all!

BRAVES GAME ON SUNDAY
We are looking forward to seeing over 1,000 of you at the Braves game on Sunday. The parade is for players and coaches ONLY.

Our last Braves ticket pickup is tomorrow from 12-1:30pm at the registration building (white building behind Cook Field next to the playground). If your team hasn’t picked up tickets yet, please send one representative tomorrow.

SLL ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
We just opened up 50 more tickets to our annual fundraiser at Truist Park next Saturday night. If you haven’t purchased tickets but would like to attend, please do so ASAP at https://e.givesmart.com/events/qkH/

We have started loading pictures and descriptions of baskets on the site and will be loading more soon (https://e.givesmart.com/events/qkH/i/) but we are still missing lots of team’s baskets.

To help make this event successful, we need as many teams as possible to create a basket to be auctioned off at the event. We also need them ASAP so we can get them posted online and be ready to rock by the end of the week. Please reach out to your coach or team mom/dad for more details.

PLAYOFFS
Please note, Rookie and older divisions have playoffs after the regular season ends. Rookie and AA playoffs start as early as May 5th and the championship games are May 14th. AAA, Majors, and Juniors playoffs start on May 11th and the championship games are May 21st (May 18th/19th for Juniors).
