SLL Fall 2022 Weekly Update #4

We are hopeful to play our first games of the Fall season tomorrow. We will be at the park early tomorrow and will send updates via email and text (text SLLFall2022leagues9515 to 334-310-2497 to join).

HUNTER STREET PROJECT
FYI… the city of Smyrna has started a project on Hunter Street. It shouldn’t impact practices or games but Hunter Street will be closed on weekdays until about 4:00pm.

PARKING AT BRINKLEY
We are so fortunate to have such a great community of players and families in our park. As our league has grown however, our parking capacity has not. It can get quite busy in our parking lot, especially on Saturdays. A couple parking reminders…

-           Please drive slowly through the lots. We have lots of kids moving around.

-           Please do NOT park on the road that runs behind Bartlett Field between King Springs Road and the gates to the parking lot. This is a narrow road with a sharp curve. Overflow parking is available at the American Legion on Saturdays.

-           Please do not leave your car unattended while you drop off and do not leave valuables in plain sight in your car. While rare, we have had break-ins in the past.

-           At the top fields, there is no parking behind the outfield fence of Hambrick Field at any time. Please park in the lots.

We realize we have a lot of people attending games and parking gets very limited, but we appreciate your understanding and compliance.

LIVE STREAMING
Just a reminder that we will again be live streaming Smyrna Little League games this fall (Brinkley Park games only). To watch the games, you will need to create/renew an account online at TealBalloon.com/sll and purchase a package. An individual membership is $12/month and a family membership (two users can watch at the same time) is $20/month.

This service will allow you to watch live games or past games for up to 14 days. It will also allow you to clip and download highlights to keep forever. SLL has its own Roku channel as well, which allows you to watch from your TV.
