SLL Weekly Update #4

What a beautiful week of weather to kick off the spring. Hopefully mother nature keeps cooperating.

GAME SCHEDULES
Game schedules will be posted next week (along with regular season practices). Once posted, you will receive an email and they will appear on your team page and in the Gamechanger app. For rookie and older divisions, playoffs will be the last 1-2 weeks of the season so don’t assume the season ends after your last posted game. We will also be posted remaining practices next week.

SLL GEAR
The Smyrna Little League swag store is open for business. Our SquadLocker site has lots of clothing/accessory options for parents and players. Items will ship directly to your house.

TEAM PARENT MEETING
Does your team have a Team Mom or Team Dad yet? Please reach out to your coach if your team still needs a volunteer. Coaches, please be sure to send contact info for your Team Parent to Ashley Trindle at [email protected].

The league will be holding a Team Parent Meeting this coming Tuesday, February 28th at 6:00pm in the Dogwood Room at the Smyrna Community Center.

OPENING DAY PARADE
As a reminder, our “Opening Day” parade is Saturday, March 18th. Players should plan on arriving at Campbell Middle School at 7am to decorate trucks and get ready for 8am parade departure.

Each team will need a truck to decorate and drive players through the parade. If you have a truck your team can use, please let your coach or team mom/dad know. If you have an extra truck that you are willing to let another team use, please let Ashley Trindle know.

The 12u Smyrna Slammers are selling Krispy Kreme donuts again this year. To order for your team, please fill out the form HERE.
