It's Time to Dust Off the Glove

The 2024 Spring Season is rapidly approaching and we want to make sure your young player is ready!

Please join us for the 10th Annual “Dust Off the Glove” Warm-Up Camp to prepare your child for Evaluations and the upcoming season!. This will be a great experience and lots of fun. We will work with the players on the basic fundamentals of baseball. This includes throwing, hitting, fielding (infield and outfield), base running, and situational baseball for their respective division. We will also work with the older players on pitching.

The instructors will run the players through a series of stations and drills to teach proper technique, as well as improve their overall baseball IQ. Each player will get numerous reps in the field, at the plate, and on the base paths. We will cover all areas of the game to ensure your child is ready to go! This is always a great way to officially kick-off the upcoming Rec season.

Coach Boomer Dunn and the 12U Smyrna Slammers Blue Coaches/Volunteers will lead the camp.

Who: Players 6-13 Years Old (players divided by age)
When: Saturday, February 3
Time: 10:00 AM-12:30 PM (Session 1)
1:00 PM-3:30 PM (Session 2)
Where: Brinkley Park
Cost: $35 per player (includes a Smyrna Baseball T-Shirt)
What to Bring: Hat, Glove, Cleats, Helmet, Bat, and Water
*We will have bats and helmets for the players to use, if needed*

We are doing 2 separate sessions to accommodate as many players as possible. When registering, please select one of the sessions for your child. Please register at www.smyrnalittleleague.com. We recommend registering early to ensure your child can participate. Based on field availability, we must limit the number of players per age group. If we are rained out (or postponed due to cold weather), the make-up date is scheduled for Sunday, February 4th. If you have any questions, feel free to email Boomer Dunn at [email protected].
